Make That Move... (If You Dare)

My 7th year of losing streaks in the forex markets buried me beneath a mountain of debt, with a severely battered self-esteem, low enthusiasm, and cut off from friends, family, fans, and loved ones.

Staying away from social gatherings was a high price I paid, and without traveling to see my family for years, no visible success to celebrate, and being single at this ripe age of 36...

I became a shadow of a once-promising musician, writer, prolific multimedia producer, and digital creative.

"I have been forgotten", a voice would say.

Lonely, demotivated, and surrounded by stubborn circumstances, my approach to solving this challenge was adopted from one of Earl Nightingale's podcasts.

• Organize goals in order of priority. Do what would move the needle the most.
• Start where you are, and do what you can with what you have.
• Put every ounce of effort into fulfilling each task to the best of your ability.

This has focused my strengths and resources on one project at a time, step by step, gaining clarity on the best approach to pursue the fulfillment of each goal, leading to gradual, incremental successes. 

The steps were as follows.

These steps were needed to fulfill Provoe Planet's goals of changing myself while influencing those I could reach with my brand.

But first, I had to become debt-free, update my wardrobe, and replace my faulty studio equipment (which pressured my forex trading).

Blogging/Podcasting

Eatfiles.blogspot.com was my first blog site, launched 7 years ago, where I posted ideas, trying out different depths of vulnerability, while honing my writing skills, one post at a time.

Finding my voice with every new piece on EAT Files meant I would be adequately prepared to reopen the main blog on our parent platform, Provoeplanet.com.

Essays, Articles, and Tales played a major role in keeping my pen flowing, while I couldn't afford rent money for my parent platform.

The $20 monthly fee was challenging as I lost many income sources due to over-fixation on Forex Trading.

EAT Files gave me an outlet to practice storytelling as I perfected my craft, publishing ideas without conforming to standards other than authenticity and vulnerability.

I speak my Truth.

Writing on a broad spectrum of interests proved useful for research consolidation, decluttering my mind, when it gets clouded with unsorted ideas seeking artistic expression.

This is a story of resilience, a timestamp in my incredible journey of becoming. A determination to prove myself worthy of the lofty ideas entrusted to me.

My name is Virgil Provoe Enesha. The brain box behind audio branding for 3 mega radio stations in Southern Nigeria, Cool FM, Wazobia FM, and Nigeria Info FM for the past 7+ Years.

I have been behind the Port Harcourt Entertainment Media scene, pulling major strings, auditioning and selecting most of the award-winning on-air personalities on the 3 radio stations, directing and training voiceover artists, scripting and producing radio imaging content, and post-production of pre-recorded programs.

My brand consultation and personal coaching services, quality jingle production, and audio-visual content creation have earned clients value for their marketing campaigns in these 7 years.

As a brand ambassador and advisor to major international companies, I have cut my teeth in copywriting, advertising, and branding, while maintaining a full-time job as a Radio Production Officer and head of the Production Department for CWI Port Harcourt.

Writing has played a major role in developing my songwriting, storytelling, copywriting, and ideation of concepts.

I write to declutter my mind, vent to the community, and build connections with like minds, one blog post at a time.

Podcasts

Launched on my 35th birthday, June 2nd, 2023, the "Stories I Never Told" podcast is an outlet for random musings, reviews, interviews, and anecdotes, serving as a source of regular YouTube videos.

The audio podcast is available for streaming on major podcast platforms as a source of inspiration for millions of listeners and viewers.

My different opinions are shared from a personal point of view and I intend to share my ideas in consideration of opposing views on the internet.

My thoughts and words are published to journal my ideas, passing them down to the next generation in one piece.

"Stories I Never Told" is a collection of memories and experiences I have lived, retold with some fictional alterations to conceal character identities.

I may get courageous here and there, oversharing and being too vulnerable.

Overall, I intend to connect with Provians (members of Provoe Planet), build disciples, and grow a community of great creatives.

Book Writing/Course Launch

At the age of 14, I wrote my first poetry collection. At 17, I represented Port Harcourt in the Essay Writing finals of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission's G.O.’s 60th-anniversary Essay Contest.

At 21 I released my first music single, and at 31, I published my first book “Knowing Self”, and launched Provoe Planet, a self-mastery ecosystem. 

Writing will always be my first love.

My second publication “Beyond the Metaverse” was released in 2021 and my blog posts have been a huge source of inspiration for my forthcoming books.

Writing has always been there for me in times of severe mental health challenges and behind every shift in my attitude and mindset.

Books are one of my favorite channels to convey ideas in long form.

As a researcher making mind-blowing findings regularly, I feel obligated to compile my thoughts.

This helps me consolidate my changing worldviews, as I unlearn old mental models, adapting to the times.

Having an open mind helps me create iconic literature for mental renewal and motivation for self-actualization.

Embedding my personal life experiences as much as possible while maintaining depth and value for readers, I have rekindled my resolve to publish books more often.

Courses

The decision to create courses stemmed from my experience with self-education.

I realized the value of creating digital products and recommending powerful books, so I created the Provoe University platform (a Book Club+) where you can find gems.

This online university caters to my deep drive for personal improvement and self-mastery.

Teaching topics I was researching was a great way for me to consolidate ideas, incorporating them into my life as I practiced what I was learning.

Perspective Alteration is always my target and these courses are aimed towards improved metacognition of Provoe University students.

We delve deep into rabbit holes and extract value from their core, breaking them into elementary-level concepts and lessons.

Provoe University contains mind-bending books and courses that transform its students into great contributors to society and active members of Provoe Planet.

YouTube Vlog Series

As I grow in influence, I realize the importance of documenting memories of my humble beginnings. My audience keeps demanding more behind-the-scenes footage, to appreciate the process and work ethic.

This has led to the creation of an inspirational Vlog series, VE Clips and Blogs.

These clips on @VE_Exclusives may be short but impactful, as they pull back the curtains, exposing a day in the life of a Multimedia Creative.

Each episode features exclusive moments and clips of my creative process.

Nuggets and funny bloopers keep the audience entertained as I document my journey.

Making personal videos opens up emotional blocks and leads to ideas born of vulnerability and authenticity.

The vlogs are more playful than the podcasts as I tend to go off script often. Just pure spontaneity and fun as no formality is needed.

After building a community of positive-minded individuals from the different platforms, an exclusive tier will be released for members to connect with one another on the parent website (Provoeplanet.com/forum).

This group of subscribed members constitutes a source of masterminders, from which Provoe Planet outsources its services.
